about

me

I am an illustrator, conceptual artist, bookdesigner and drawing journalist who, after graduating in illustration from the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, focused on topics in the context of culture and science.

I believe that sharing information is easier and more intuitive with the help of pictures.

Infectious optimism for knowledge sharing and visual essays move my work.

With a quick pen, a passion for holistic observation and a high interest in research, I am a creative professional in the field of visual communication. As a storytelling, drawing journalist and researcher, I can help make connections more understandable and accessible to a wider audience. Inspired by nature and my everyday life in Japan, I speak a reduced colour language in atmospheric visualisation.

My services range from illustration via a personal view of a topic as a bridge between experts and non-specialists to conceptual and holistic design with a high proportion of self-research.

I love tea culture, museums and playing pen & paper with my friends; always eager to learn something new…
